Hello, I am a kindergarten teacher and I am a widow of an Indian Army Soldier. I wish that my only daughter joined Kendriya Vidyalaya School. Now she is in 4th Standard studying in Buxar district in a CBSE school. What should I do for the admission?

To get admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya School in 5th standard or above:-

Candidate must have to follow this eligibility criteria:-

Age limit:-
Class V - 9 to11 years
Class VI - 10 to12 years
Class VII - 11 to13 years
Class VIII - 12 to14 years
Class IX - 13 to 15 years
Class X - 14 to 16 years

- There is no upper and lower age limit for admission
into class XI.

Category wise seat criteria is as follows:-

Sc - 15%
ST - 7.5%
Differently abled candidates - 3%
Economically weaker sections of the society - 25%
