Is it mandatory to renew OBC certificate for scholarship purpose?
Sir, I am from Chandigarh. I am a student of 12th Commerce. I will do BBA(H) after my Intermediate. I have an OBC certificate that was issue 4 years ago when I was in 8th standard. I want to apply for OBC scholarships. My question is, I have to renew this certificate or not?

OBC certificate along with non creamy layer certificate is definitely renewed because only those who have an income in limit are eligible to get benefit of OBC category. Therefore, you have to renew it because such benefits are based on income.
Those OBC category candidates who belong to rich families are not eligible to avail benefits available for OBC category. Hence, you must renew it. |
