My son was born on 03/08/2005. Now he is in 4th class. Is he eligible for 10th class examination of cbse ? Kindly advise me earliest.

Your son is eligible for the admission in the 10th Class.He is in 4th Class in the age of 7-8Years.Now his age is around 10 Years.At the age of 18years,he will be in 10th Class.So it is not to worry sir.he can easily get the admission in 10th Class after passing the 9th Class.
I suggest you that don't get confuse and wait till his 9th Result then admit him in a reputed CBSE School.

And you said that now your child was 9 years old and he was pursuing 4th standard, so, when he joins in 10th standard, his age will be definitely above 14 years. Yes of course your daughter is well eligible to give 12th exam. Now she is in class 8th, when she will be in class 10th then, her age will be 14 years.

My daughter's date of birth is 07 April 2013. We have planned to admit her in LKG next year (2016-2017). By 2027, she would be reaching her 10 th standard. And, she will be 13.9 Years old by 01 June 2027. Will she be able to appear for the Class X exams? My doubt here is, while appearing for the exams on Mar/April 2028, she would have crossed 14.5 Years. Please clarify.

My son's date of birth is 02.8.2005.While admitting him in first standard I got ratification from the concerned Assistant Elementary Educational Officer, through the Headmaster of the School concerned (Government Middle School) Now he is studying in VI in Tamilnadu Government State Board School. sir daughter DOB is 28.12.2011. As per her COB in a CBSE school they told that she is not eligible to admit in UKG, she is eligible for LKG only is it correct. as on 01.04.2016 her age is 4 years and 3 months

Minimum age for getting admission in Class I is 5 yrs as per CBSE norms.

According to the guidelines of CBSE board, to get admission in10th standard a child must have attained the minimum of 14 years and maximum of 16 years of age at 31st march of that year.

CBSE has defined minimum age limit criteria for class 10th.
A candidate must have minimum 14 years of age in class 10th.
There is no any maximum age limit criteria.
Your son will be eligible for class 10th exam.

Also, to be eligible for 10th board examination you must be registered with CBSE board from class 9th at least if you are not its student from previous classes.
