What is the minimum age for appearing in Class X (C.B.S.E)

Dear Friend,
You must note that their is only one set of rules applied for the student to attempt the 10th Examinations that is you must have completed your 9th Class from CBSE Board and should have to apply in the same year as that of the year of result of class 9th.
Secondly you can apply if you have failed in 10th Examination and belonging to the CBSE Board,that is to clear the Compartment Exams.
And,At last for Improvement Exams which is valid only when you have given the examinations in the same year for class 10th.

Beside all these if you are not coming in any of the options as that mentioned above then you will not be eligible to attempt for re-exams.

There is specified guide lines in this regard.

As per the guidelines, the minimum age to appear in 10th CBSE BOARD exam is 14 years as on 31st December of the year of examination.

Further, a candidate can appear for three attempts of the said examination.
