Hello Sir,
I would like to know that is this possible
to move from ICSE Board to CBSE Board
in 8th standard? I am the student of class 7 of
ICSE Board and I want to take admission
in class 8 of CBSE school. Please tell me is this
possible for me or not.

Yes, it is very much possible, for that you will just have to follow some simple steps mentioned below;

Steps to change school after 7th class in another board:

> You first need to get a transfer certificate form the school in which presently you are studying.

> Collect your report card from your current school.

> Complete the admission procedure in the prospective school you want admission in.

> Notify your board about the transfer of school.

NOTE: It would be better if you remain in the same board and just transfer your school from one to another,or it will be quite difficult for you to cope up with the new board syllabus pattern.

In case, your new school has a different board, then you will be needing an affidavit citing the reason for changing board.

It is possible to get admission in any of the school which is affiliated to CBSE board, only you need to have certain documents with you when you are taking admission in any CBSE affiliated school

The documents are as follows:-

> Last school attended record.

> Transfer certificate from previous school.

> Migration certificate from previous board.

> Last class result.

> Original date of birth certificate.
