Possibility to study BSc(Optometry) for a PCM student
Hello everyone, I want to know if I can get to study BSc(Optometry) in any college in Guwahati after 12th with PCM? I am a PCM student and I am interested in studying BSc in this specialization. So, is it possible or not?

°°° No, you are not eligible to study BSc(Optometry) being a PCM student.
As for optometry BSc course minimum eligibility criteria, student must qualify 10 + 2 with physics, chemistry, biology and English course with minimum 45% score. °°° Job opportunities: Eye clinics Eye doctor Health consultant Sales executive Optometrist Optician Teacher Optical shop |

Sorry, you can apply for admission in BSC Optometry only, when you have studied 12th with the subjects combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This is the minimum requirement and you also must have 50% marks to before eligible for entrance exam. Therefore, if you haven't studied this stream then you cannot get admission.
Medical stream is a specialised field and other steam students cannot get admission in it. |

Eligibility criteria for BSc Optometry:-
> Minimum Qualification required - 10+2 (chemistry, Biology and Physics). > Minimum Marks Required (Aggregat) : 45%. > Minimum Age requirement: 17 years or more. So, as per optometry course criteria you will not able to take admission in this course. |

--- Eligibility to study BSc(Optometry)
Candidates must have completed the 10 + 2 level of graduation from the science stream ( Physics, chemistry and Biology) with at least 45% aggregate secured from a recognized board. Candidates must have completed 17 years of age or more. The admission process for BSC optometry occurs as an entrance based in admission process for a merit based admission process. To be an optimetrist you need to have a bachelor degree in optometry which is a 4 year course. |

Possibility to study BSc(Optometry) for a PCM student can be seen below.
Candidate must have completed 12th with minimum aggregate of 50% from recognized board. Candidate can get admission on the basis of merit list of 12th class score. |
