it may be possible to get admission in sainik school after passing class 10th? I mean is it possible to get admission in sainik school in class 11th ?

It is indeed a good decision to opt for a Sainik School. Admission in Sainik School takes place on the basis of entrance examination. The admissions are open for class 6 to class 9. There is a personal interview followed by the written test. In case, you are interested in class 11 admission, the admission will be purely on the basis of merit. The Sainik Schools are affiliated to CBSE board and the forms are out by December. The entrance test usually takes place in the month of January.

My son is presently gone to 10th STD Maharashtra SSC Board. What is the procedure for joining 11th Standard in Sainik Schools after completing 10th STD. The Child is interested to join NDA. Thanks

My grand daughter wants to join military school after passing 9th class. Can she get an admission in 10th class. Are girls allowed to get an admission in military school.? What is the procedure..?

As officially said , it is not possible to get admission in class 11th at sainik school due to following terms are as :-

1. The entrance exam will be held for the admission in class 6th
and 9th.

2. Boys who are age of 10 to 12 years and 13 to 15 years
respectively on 31 march of the present year only suppose to
take admission .

3. For admission in 6th , candidate should be in 5th standard and for admission in 9th , candidate should be in 8th standard.

4. Admission would be maid strictly on merit based .

However ,when you personally concerned with the board , if any situation made at that time and your 10th percentage is very high. Who knows ,keep trying and hope.
