Respected sir/madame, I have completed my 'PLUS TWO' with 'ARTS' group and after that I completed 'BA HISTORY'.But now I am really interested in doing MBBS.Is it possible for me to write NEET either in 2022 or 2023?

Definitely candidates who completed their 12th standard from NIOS with PCM as the core subjects are eligible for applying NEET examination.
However in your case, you had completed 12th standard from ARTS group, hence you are not eligible for appearing in the NEET examination.

Of course, you can take NEET examination after completing 12th standard from National Institute of Open Schooling. National Institute of Open Schooling is a board like any other board and it is recognised by every institutes in India as well as abroad.

NEET is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. It is mandatory to appear and qualify in NEET for admission in MBBS course.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th board examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as Main paper with minimum 50% aggregate.

So, after completion of 12th with NIOS board in PCB, you are eligible to apply for the examination.

NIOS is a recognised board and affiliated to Ministry of Education.

Candidates passed or pursuing from NIOS board are eligible to appear for NEET if have PCB in std 12th.

There is no upper age limit to appear for the examination.

For appearing in NEET UG, applicant is required to have completed Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate in PCB group subjects from a recognized board of education. Marks relaxation upto 10% is allowed in case of unreserved category candidates.

So, if you are interested in appearing in NEET UG then you can still appear in NEET but you will have to pursue your Class 11th and Class 12th with PCB combination from a recognized board of education which includes NIOS too.

No, you are not eligible to appear in NEET examination. To be eligible to appear in NEET examination, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from a Government recognised board. So, being a 12th standard Arts stream student, you are not eligible to apply for NEET examination.

The qualification required for NEET is a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology with English from a recognized board. The minimum score should be 50% marks for the General category and for SC/ST candidates it is 40% to 45% marks. The minimum age limit of the candidate should be 17 years as of 31st December of the year and the upper age limit is 25 years.

Yes, it is possible to write NEET 2022 after completing PCB from NIOS.

To be eligible for appearing in NEET UG for getting admission to MBBS degree course, the basic education is required is a higher secondary school degree in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate (or 40% marks in aggregate in case of OBC(NCL), SC/ST category) from a recognized board of examination.

So, being an Arts graduate, if you are interested to go for MBBS degree course now, then you will have to go for two year higher secondary school degree course again but with PCB combination this time. Further, the higher secondary school degree from NIOS in the concerned discipline will be valid for MBBS admissions which you can get only after qualifying NEET UG.

The eligibility criteria required to apply for NEET is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th board examination with a recognised board in PCB stream. The minimum age limit is 17 years and no upper age limit.
