Boarding schools are known to put discipline, punctuality and obedience into a child and make them better students as well as a better person.

As far as leadership qualities are concerned, they come from within a person. What boarding schools do seem to provide is a platform for children’s inner leadership qualities so that they can not only demonstrate them but also enhance them by working on them.

After 12th standard, due to being in such an atmosphere, most students do pan out to become achievers and get into good colleges. Schools such as the Doon School and St. John’s School are known to have some bonds with the best colleges of India and students passing out their school from such schools have greater chances of getting into a great college, in India or abroad.
