In order to appear for board examination of tenth board of Maharashtra, you will have to pass ninth standard. Without passing 9th standard, you can not get promoted to 10th standard and appear for board exam.

If you want to get promotion then it is compulsory to pass 9th class examination.
But if you don’t want to repeat it then you can pursue from NIOS Board also.
It is also valid so no need to worry.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
