Hi...my son date of birth is 28/05/2010. Is he eligible to get admission for 5th class in ICSE syllabus schools ?

The age limit of admission in 5th class in ICSE board:-

To get the information about the minimum required age criteria to appear for board examination or to get admission in any standard visit the office of Directorate of State Education Board.

CBSE or any other recognised board does not declare the age limit criteria for the same. It varies with state.

The age criteria to get admission in any standard or to appear in 10th standard board examination is not decided by the recognised board.
It is the responsibility of a Directorate of State Education Board to decide the minimum eligibility criteria for the same.

So visit the concern office to get the detail information about the eligibility for the same.

The age limit of admission in the 5th class in the ICSE board is 9+ years at the time of admission as of 31st March 2021. The age criteria for the academic year 2020-21 from Nursery and above are given below.

Nursery - 2+ year
LKG - 3+ year
UKG - 4+ year
Class Ist - 5+ year
Class IInd - 6+ year
Class IIIrd - 7+ year
Class IVth - 8+ year
Class Vth - 9+ year
Class VIth - 10+ year
Class VIIth - 11+ year
Class VIIIth - 12+ year
Class IXth - 13+ year
Class Xth - 14+ year
