What is the minimum age for admission in class 9th under ICSE Board curriculum? Is there any relaxation or reservation for any caste group of candidates?

Minimum age limit for class 9th admission under ICSE Board curriculum is given below:-


There is no age limit for appearing for the ICSE Examination. However, schools are requested to follow the rules and regulation prescribed by State Education Department of the concerned State Government.

As per the education department, the minimum age required to attend the 10th board examination is 14 years as of December 31st of the same year. However, there is no upper age limit to appear in 10th board examination. You should be at least 13 years to get admission in 9th standard.
