What are the courses available to study for a candidate who has secured 60% in 12th Arts?


Hello,
My daughter passed 12th standard with Arts
this year with 60% but she can't decide
what to do for next career.
Kindly suggest me something for my daughter.
Please give a solution.

After completion of your 12th standard with Arts stream with an aggregate of 60% marks from a recognised board, you can opt for any of the course from the list of courses mentioned below :-

1. Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in
-> Economics
-> Political Science
-> Sociology
-> Journalism
-> Fashion Design
-> Hotel Management
-> Event Management

2. Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in
-> Applied Arts
-> Sculpture
-> Painting
-> Fashion Design

You can opt for any course in which you are interested from the list of above mentioned courses.

There are many courses available for arts student after completing his/her 12th. Some of the courses are given below.

List of the courses available for 12th Art students:

1. Fashion Design course.
2. Event management course.
3. Mass communication course.
4. Foreign Language Course.
5. Acting Course.
6. Beautician Course.
7. Dance course
8. Entrepreneurship courses.
9. Hotel management course.

Lets talk about the two eminent field for arts students

1. Law

2. Civil Services

* To get admission in law you have to write the CLAT Examination which is held every year. By clearing this exam you can get the admission in any of the national law universities which offer an integrated program of 5 years of BA-LLB

* If you are interested in the Civil Services then you have to study very hard your arts subjects as they are mendatory for Civil Services examination and after your graduation u can sit in the examination conducted by UPSC every year.
