Bachelor of Fine Arts:
The duration of BFA course offered by the Institute of Fine Arts is four years and for getting into this course candidates must have completed their 10+2 or its equivalent qualification must have been obtained by them. In the first years of the course, candidates will be offered teaching related to subjects like graphics, sculpture and painting and the second years of the course any one of these subjects is to be opted by candidates for specialization. In the first year of the course along with the above-mentioned subjects, candidates will have to study Sanskrit/English/Hindi. For seeking admission to this course, candidates should not have attained 24 years of age as on the 1st of July in the year in which he is seeking admission and there is no age limit for female candidates. Admission is done based on the merit secured by candidates in the entrance examination conducted by the institution.
Master of Fine Arts:
Master of Fine Arts course is offered by the Institute of Fine Arts in three different specializations namely Graphics, Sculpture and Painting. For getting into the MFA course, candidates must have secured not less than 50% of marks in the Bachelor of Fine Arts course and at least 55% of marks in the concerned subject in which they wish to do their MFA course.
