Hello Sir, can you please help me to take decision for my career. I have passed my 12th with 55% from PCM. I want to became an astronaut then, what should I do? Can you explain briefly. Thanks.

Basic requirement for astronaut candidate program:

One must have completed bachelor's degree in engineering, in biological science / physical science / computer science/ mathematics.

Candidate must have us citizenship.

Height must be in between 62 to 72 inches.

You can join B tech in Aeronautical Engineering after qualifying JEE examination.

NASA takes in specialist from different discipline including aeronautical engineering.

In order to become an Astronaut, you are required to meet the following requirements.

>> The basic educational qualification required to be eligible for becoming an Astronaut is "Bachelor's Degree" in Engineering from a recognized university.

>> Besides this, you are required to have years of professional experience in concerned field. Or else, you can do certain hours of pilot in command time on jet aircraft.

>> After meeting the criteria, you are required to apply for Astronaut recruitment and you will then be called for interview.

>> After qualifying in Interview, you will be required to complete the training period and then you will become an Astronaut.

>> As you are done with 12th Class, I suggest you to first pursue Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
