Hi guys, Write now for engineering students every one should complete with 1st class.But this 1st class pass % marks get varies from each other in the same state itself.

In my university 65% above only 1st class where as most of them considering 60% only.
we can also see few universities considering 55% as first class.
why this system??

lets take a guy from my university scoring 62%.
he is a 2nd class in his degree.if he studied in any other mean he is a 1st class degree holder.

More over all the research related jobs are stating only 1st class in their qualification required.

when can we see change in this system???

As this is not a good thing that every University is following its own criteria but i must say that 1St Class passing criteria is 60-70% depends on the university that what university opt as its criteria. this whole depends on level of paper that the students are giving in the exam.
