i want to know the minimum marks in aieee to get admission in dce and how to approach dce after aieee result..?? What career oppurtunities are provided for science student..??

Minimum Cut-off depands upon from which cateory do belongs.

General is required to score more,Backward communities are required to less,that why dont get into that just remember what rank you have to scored.

For DU minimum 30,000 all India rank is required.

Dear friend
You can apply for DCE on the basis of AIEEE score after the results of CEE DCE 2010 declared.
The 15% of the total seats is filled on the basis of AIEEE score.
Assurance of admission in DCE can only be given if your All India RAbk in AIEEE is below 2000.

There is a good chance of getting admission in DCE if your AIEEE AIR is below 2000.
But, the seats for AIEEE is only 15% so you must see the other option as well. If you don't get mechanical in DCE then at these rank you can choose IT from IIIT hyderabad.

Dear friend
at this marks your rank would be around 20,000. For Dce one would have to get rank within 2000 roughly.
however, you can get some of the NITs(like Patna, Jamshedpur, srinagar) and Sastra Thanjavur at this rank

dude as u also know that there is enormous struggle involved in getting admission after clearing (on the basis of merit) aieee paper especially when ur marks lie between 180-210.
With the increment in a single mark in this range (180-210),ur rank rises with the tremendous rate.......hence we conclude from this that ur not safe at this stage of marks bkz year by year competetion is increasing...last yr the one with the marks 200 got rank 24000 ....now u may calculate ur condition keeping in the present year competetion which is the most toughest. .......<----this is negative aspect in ur way....now positive aspect goes like this.........------>in the present days ,there is an agitation going on regarding college status although it is not fully justified hence u may expect higher cut off rank this yr .........well best of luck

I am not sure about the marks but i am sure about the rank. From this year onwards DCE is admitting on AIEEE basis so there will be a stiff competition in order to get into DCE.

According to DCE main website, there are around 900 seats for all courses and there is 85% reservation for delhities and rest for all india quota. So you may need a rank in top 5000 to get into DCE. So work hard for AIEEE and try to get in top 5000

238 is a real awesome score. With this score you can expect a rank 9601-11000

if you are in general category then my ans- "no"
but if you have reservation, you stand a chance.
study hard AIEEE paper will get easier

hello friend, for your kind information DCE holds top position in AIEEE, so for admission in DCE you will have to be top ranker in AIEEE.
& 1 thing i let you inform that there are 80% reservation in DCE for students belong to delhi.
& a seperate exam is also conducted by DCE, you can also go through it but very less no. of seats are for outside delhi students.

Sir, I have obtained 299 marks out of 600 in HSC.(12th) of Maharashtra state board.
And I have appeared for MHT-CET, AIEEE and appearing for MAH-AR-CAT.
And if I get good marks/rank in these entrance exams, will I get addmission to Engineerin courses or Architectural courses in any colleges/institutes in or around Maharashtra ?

i dont think that u will that good rank(5000-10k) to apply for dce,,,,ur score is 210,,,last year this score got 18000rank.....also this year total mark of the paper was 480(last year it was 430),,,and in my view last year's paper was much harder than this years,,,,,,,,,so um sorry but in my view ur rank will lie around 22000.....

for the dec the only 15% sheet is fill up on the basis of the aieee rank..
and for that your marks must should be between 7500 to 10000.
then you can take admission through counseling.
