Paper pattern for set in english literature?

please send me the paper pattern of set exam for english literature. also send previous question papers and their solutions. send the material of objective type questions.

You have'nt mentioned that from which state you are appearing for SET exam,as it is conducted differently for different states.

However,I will advice you to opt for books of 'upkar prakashan' and books and magazines of 'pratyogita darpan' they launch books for all state SET exams.

you can also opt for books of G.K.Publishers.

Above mentioned books will not only provide you the paper patern but also complete study materials for it.

There will be 3 papers in the entrance. Paper 1 will have objective questions from Teaching and Research Aptitude. Paper 2 will have objective questions from the Post Graduation subject. Paper 3 will have short and long questions from the Post Graduation subject. Paper 1 & 2 will be of 75 minutes each and will have 50 questions of 100 marks each. Paper 3 will be of 200 marks and 2 and a half hours duration. Paper 3 will be evaluated only for those who qualify in Paper 1 & 2

KEY FEATURES OF THE SYLLABUS:
- Language work tested by translation from Latin into English and by comprehension
questions.
- Two short set texts each year, one verse and one prose. Knowledge and understanding
of language, style, content and ideas are tested by translation, context questions and
short essays.
