Eligibility
- You must have passed bachelor degree in Nautical Science/Marine Engineering.
- Your age must be less than 21 to 25 years of the examination year.

First of all you must have completed 12th in Physics,Maths & Chemistry.

Procedure to join Merchant Navy:-You must have completed 12th in PCM subjects.

You must have passed medical test.

Only unmarried male candidates can apply.

After 12th you have completed B.Tech in electrical/Mechanical or diploma in Marine Engineering then you are eligible for various jobs in Merchant Navy.

If you want to take direct entry for merchant navy then you would also need to government Preliminary course in Marine from MERI .
