Sir/Madam, I will complete my AMIE course in next year. After completing my AMIE, I want to apply for UPSC and other PSC exams. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for me to apply for such exams. Please let me know immediately.

Union Public Service Commission conducts many examinations to recruit candidates for various Government posts.


Two of the major exams are Civil service examination and Engineering services exam.


Eligibility for Civil service Examination-

Age-Candidate should be between 21 to 32 years old. Age relaxation is given to reserved candidates.

Education- Graduate in any subject from a government recognized university.


Eligibility for Engineering services examination-


Age limit- 21 to 30 years.

Educational- Degree in engineering from recognized university/ Candidates who have passed Section A and B of Examination of Institution of Engineers (India)/ Candidates who have passed section 2 and 3 of Associate membership examination , Section A and B of the Aeronautical society of India. And other recognized bodies.
