Entrance exams available for MBBS admission in Deccan College of Medical Sciences? Cutoff rank required to secure admission?


Hello everyone, I want to study MBBS from Deccan College of Medical Sciences. I would like to know about the entrance exams for getting admission in this institute for this course? Kindly tell me about the cutoff rank also for getting admission.

The candidates willling to take admission in the Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course in Deccan College of Medical Sciences would need to attempt the NEET Entrance examination and had to score a very good rank as the allotment of the college is done through counseling.

The minimum eligibility required to apply for Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Deccan College of Medical Sciences is 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 55% marks from a recognized board or equivalent.

Yes, entrance examination is available to study MBBS at Deccan College of Medical Sciences. The candidate must have done 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology or any optional subject with English with a minimum score of 50% marks for general category, 45% marks for general PH category and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC category.

The admission to the course will be done on the basis of marks scored in NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Under Graduate) which is conducted by the CBSE followed by online counseling. This course is a 5 years and 6 months duration course.

The minimum qualifying percentile is 50th percentile and the qualifying score is 701 - 134.
