How can a female candidate join Income Tax Department?
I am female candidate and about to complete my B.Com. I wanted to join Income Tax Department and become an Income Tax Officer. So, what should I do now? What should I study further?

You can join Income Tax department as an officer after qualifying in the Civil Service Examination.
It is conducted by UPSC. The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit is 21-32 years. The examination is conducted in three stage and candidates have to qualify in all the stages for final selection. For more information about the examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |
