The engineering mathematics paper of Sathyabhama University has three sections, i.e Group A, B and C. The initial section, Group A only holds the multiple choice questions or the short question having two marks each. There may or may not be choice of questions in this section of the paper. The second section, Group B have a maximum of five questions from where the students have to attend three and the marks that each question of this section holds is five. The total group B consists of fifteen marks. The final section of the paper, Group C also consist a maximum of five questions like group B from which the students need to attend three and the marks allotted for each question is fifteen. The entire section consists of forty five marks. The entire paper holds a total of eighty marks and the time allotted for its completion is three hours.
