hii i am a B.Tech student. currently i am in 8th semester.Can any software compny take me
my eligbility is-
B.tech--7.04(2007-11)
hs-60.1%(2003)
10th-76.28%(2001)

Hi!

The eligibility criteria for engineering freshers in top software companies is generally 65% in their qualifying degree exam i.e. BTech/BE. And a higher percentage of marks is always preferable.

MNCs not only consider BTech / BE marks they also give equal importance to percentage of marks obtained in 10th & 10+2 exam. Many MNCs coming for campus recruitment or even hiring off campus puts eligibility criteria as 60% through out the candidate’s educational life.

Since you have scored more than 60% throughout your academic life you are eligible for recruitment in almost all the IT companies. You can apply in these software companies:

TCS
Oracle
Dell
Infosys
Sun microsystem

the eligibility criterion for recruitment in most of the software company is you should have minimum of 60% marks through out. but you have more than 60% marks.

so do not worry. you are eligible for most of the software company. try to appear in their recruitment procedure.

Your percentage is very good, definitly you will get the job in the software companies.

You attend the interviews of the different companies.

Date of the interwiews you can see on internet.

There are many companiies which call the candidates for open interview. So attend such interviews and if you are not selected once or twice do not get demolrise, correct the mistakes and again be ready for next interview.

If any student is maintaning more then 60% then there is no problem for the job

Don't worry you have sufficient marks to apply in almost all company . almost all well-known companies demand atleast 60% throughout your career with no backlogs .since you have more marks than that you are eligible to apply for all .

Well friend,

Don't worry your past records are very much impressive.

You will do get Lots of Jobs and Even you are Eligible for Different Companies criteria.

Like Infosys came up here with 60% aggregate .So, many companies comes with 65% maximum aggregate criteria.

If your college doesn't provide you on-campus selections, then don't need to worry because By posting your resume to one of the leading Jobs site , you can get many companies .

Friend you are eligible for the recruitment in any software company. The minimum eligibility is 60% but you have more then 60% then you are eligible.

There are various software copanies which offer jobs for refreshers.Most probably they give placement directly from college.But you can apply seperately by sending your resume to various companies.Check out the below site for various companies jobs and their process.

You are in their eligibility criteria.

But their are many more companies who demands 655 & even though 70% in all.
You are eligible for most but not for all.

Dear Friend
As per your academics you are surely eligible for most of the software
companies as the eligibility criteria use to be throughout 60% in 10th
,12th and graduation.
These days i.e. particularly this year all major software companies of India
and abroad are recruiting in very large numbers.
The common placement process contains a Written test, Group Discussion
and an Interview.
In written test questions come from Quantitative Aptitude, verbal reasoning
and technical question from programming and coding.
The group discussion checks your communication skill and other interpersonal
skills.
So you should prepare yourself good in technical knowledge and
communication skills.
Your academics just make you eligible to appear the placement process but
it doesn't guarantee final selection.
Final selection becomes a function of your performance in the placement process.

yes, you are eligible for applying in software companies.
the basic requirement for applying in software companies is:
Min % of 65% in overall 10,12 & b.tech without any backlogs.
there are many companies in the market as:
TCS,
Wipro
and many more.

There are many companies which are offering in the recruitment on the basis of Gate score card
almost all oil companies requited engineers on of their GAte score.
and many private and govt. companies as Unclear power & more.

you have a great marks and its all above 60%...so you are 100% eligible to sit for any company even the MNCs...so just prepare for the exams and interview without worrying for the eligibility..

It seems there is a 4 year gap between 12th-B.Tech so top IT brands will not hire you but few companies such as NEWGEN APPS dont have any criteria so you can try their...

No, there wont be any problem when you have less marks in core subjects when you have a aggregate of above 60 %, so you don't have to worry.. you are completely eligible for all the top MNC companies

POINTS TO NOTE :

-> Prepare your core subjects well again by revising them, because many questions in technical interview will be from your core subjects..

if u want to go in software then the criteria of TCS is 60% through out, nd for ZENSAR,NIIT TECHNOLOGIES,HSBC TECHNOLOGIES..the criteria is same as TCS..for ACCENTURE the critera is 50 % throughout...

dear friend,

for TCS eligibility criteria is 60% above in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .maximum two years gap are allowed.

For WIPRO eligibility criteria is 50% in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .maximum two years gap are allowed.

for INFOSYS eligibility criteria is 65% above in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .maximum two years gap are allowed.

but maximum software company have criteria is just above 60% in through out career.

many companies will not allow but some will allow e.g cts, syntel etc check it
