Yes,There is BS and MS Courses in Genetics you can apply for them after completing your 10+2 Board Examinations from any of the recognised Board with having Physics,Chemistry and Biology as an main subjects.

Regarding the Junior Scientist so in order to become Junior Scientist in Genetics you must have completed at least your MS in Genetics with these you should have to join Research Groups or Departments which is well known for the field for which you have to carry forward the research.They mostly take the Examinations in order to become the Junior Scientist and then by clearing the exams you can go further with research as you have became a Junior Scientist.
