sir
my age is now 29,am not completing degree,now am wish to completingdegree.what is the chance of attending civil service exam? |

You can attend civil services exam up to 30 years. Age relaxation can be expected, if belongs to reserved category. 3 year age relaxation is there for OBC candidates. SC/ST candidates can have 5 year age relaxation. You can attend the exam after completing degree. UPSC website contains additional details.

Civil service examinations is conducted by Union Public Service Commission once a year
The following services under Civil service Examinations : Indian Administrative Service Indian police Service Indian Foreign Service Indian Revenue Service Indian Railway Traffic Service Central Industrial Security Force Eligibility : Candidates must be Indian Candidates must be complete Graduation in any stream from a recognized University Candidates age limit between 21 to 30 years The upper age relaxation as per govt rules Selection Process : Preliminary Examination Main Examination Interview Number of Attempts : Max of 4 attempts is permitted to every candidates 7 attempts for OBC candidates No limit for SC/ST candidates |

First of all, I would like to inform you that your age is 29 yrs old at present time and you have not complete your degree; so, you are not eligible for the civil services examination. Civil services examination is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Services Commission) every year. The eligibility criteria required for the civil services examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in any stream from any recognized college or university. * Final year contenders are also eligible. * Age limit:- 21-30 yrs. * Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contenders. * Nationality:- Indian. |

Civil services exam is a nationwide competitive exam in India. The short form of Civil Services exam is CSE. Union Public Service Commission organizes Civil Services exam for the recruitment to the various civil services of the Government of India, including Indian Administrative Services, Indian Foreign Services, Indian Police Services, Indian Revenue Services, Indian Forest Services, Indian Engineering Services. Civil services exam is organized for those candidates who have a passion to serve our nation directly with administrative power. The educational qualifications regarding with civil services exam are below mentioned:- # Candidates must have finished their finished bachelor degree in any curriculum from any approved institution. # There is no need of percentage in bachelor degree for this exam. # Candidates of last year of bachelor degree are also preferable for this exam. As you are interested for Civil service Exam , There are some eligibility criteria which you have to fulfill for applying this exam..... Educational Qualification: ---------------------------- The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university . Age Limit : ---------- The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs.
