i have in final sem and my engg percentage is 55% and 10th is 64% can i get government job or private job plz guide me.

There are very limited opportunities for the Computer Science Engineers in the government sector. You can apply for job in Public Sector Undertakings. These companies do hire Computer Science Engineers but not all of them.

Therefore before applying you will have to make sure whether the PSU is looking for Computer Science Engineers or not. There are more than 150 such companies in the country.

They don't have any common entrance exam. You will have to separately apply for each company. The procedure is that you should look for the notification by each company. It is published in leading newspapers as well job sites and the official website of the company.

Please check whether Computer Science Engineers are required. Only apply if there is a vacancy. Then you will appear for the entrance exam to get the job.

While some Public Sector Undertakings conduct written test others prefer the GATE score. Therefore it is better to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering. Having completing Bachelor of Technology makes you eligible for the GATE entrance exam.


PSU Eligibility

1. The jobs are offered to Indians only.

2. B.E or B.Tech degree holders can apply.

3. Minimum of 60 percent marks in graduation.

4. You should have cleared backlogs before applying.

5. Valid GATE score which should not be more than 2 years old.

6. Your age should be 21 to 30 years.

7. Relaxation is 3 years for OBC.

8. 5 years for SC/ST.
