Is it beneficial to study MS in Canada for a BTech Mechanical student?

Hi everyone, I am doing BTech(Mechanical Engineering). My parents told me to move Abroad for higher education because there are no such good institutions which provide good education in MS. So, I want to know if it is good to go Canada for my MS program?
