I want to know that like many Indian universities provide stipend for doing PhD programs so universities in Canada also provide stipend? I like to go abroad to do a PhD in Economics. I am an MSc postgraduate. So, I want to clear my doubts.

I can't answer your question exactly, but I know that all full-time students with a valid study permit can work part-time on or off campus for up to 20 hours per week during university semesters and full time during semester breaks.

My friend said he was getting a scholarship. I can clarify this question with him.
