Hi friends, can anyone of you kindly let me know about the eligibility criteria for studying PhD(Geography) from University of Johannesburg? I want to apply for this course so I need to know about the eligibility criteria. Thank you!

Eligibility to study PhD(Geography) in University of Johannesburg is given below.

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Geography from any recognized university. In addition for doctoral study, a residential period of at least two months is also required to be eligible to pursue PhD(Geography) in University of Johannesburg.

Candidates who have a Master’s degree in another Natural Science discipline and who meet the basic requirements and approval, are also eligible to apply for a Doctorate in Environmental Science (under the banner of Geography).

Candidates must have a score card of IELTS or equivalent for proof of English language Proficiency.

Eligibility Criteria to study PhD(Geography) in University of Johannesburg:-
1. You must have an upper class appropriate Master's degree in geography or related stream.
2. You must have an essay on expected thesis topic.
3. You must have GRE or GMAT examination scorecard.
4. You must have an English language proficiency test scorecard.
