Requirements to study PhD(Geography) in University of Johannesburg is given below.

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Geography from any recognized university. In addition for doctoral study, a residential period of at least two months is also required to be eligible to pursue PhD(Geography)

Candidates who hold a Master’s degree in another Natural Science discipline and who meet the basic requirements and approval, are also eligible to apply for a Doctorate in Environmental Science (under the banner of Geography).

Candidates must have a score card of IELTS for proof of English language Proficiency.
