The eligibility criteria for NRI-sponsored seats for medical courses, such as MBBS, in India vary from institution to institution. However, in general, the following eligibility criteria are usually considered:
  • Nationality: The candidate should be a Non-Residential Indian (NRI), or a person of Indian origin (PIO), or a foreign national.
  • Age: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
  • Educational Qualifications: The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subjects, and should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in these subjects.

It is advisable to check the specific eligibility criteria for NRI-sponsored seats for MBBS course at the institutions where your daughter is interested in pursuing her studies.

To apply for an NRI-sponsored seat for MBBS, you may have to follow the below steps:

  • Contact the institution where your daughter is interested in pursuing her studies to get information on the application procedure for NRI-sponsored seats.
  • Fill out the application form and attach all the required documents, such as educational qualifications, passport, NRI status proof, etc.
  • Submit the application form and the required documents to the institution.
  • Pay the application fee, if required.
  • Wait for the institution to release its merit list and inform you of the admission process.

But, please note that the admission process and the application procedure for NRI-sponsored seats may vary from institution to institution, so it's important to check with the specific institution for accurate information.
