Hi friends, I have studied BTech in India and secured admission for an MEng course in the USA. I want to settle down in the USA after completing my MEng from there. I would like to know that I can get settled down over there? Is it possible?

Yes, absolutely it is possible to get settled in the USA after completing your MEng over there.

First of all, There’s no direct way of getting permanent residency just because you complete a master’s degree. Your best option would be to start looking for employers and making connections early in the process of getting your education.

**So that you have a job lined up immediately after graduation and an employer who will sponsor you for a work visa. [That isn’t always easy, so it’s best not to wait till the last minute].

**Try to get a position with a company you want to work for, and then make yourself so useful to that company that they want to keep you past the “practical training” year.
