Madhya Pradesh Pre Engineering (MP PET) is held by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. This examination is conducted for the selection of candidates for the admission to the various undergraduate programs in Engineering. The score of MP PET is considered valid by various reputed Colleges of the state. They will consider this score along with academic performance during the selection process. Through MPPET candidates can get in to both public and private professional Colleges of the state.

Instructions to be followed for filling in form

• The candidate has to fill the application forms with great care. The center of written exam must be specified in the application form without error. Along with this the elective subjects must be mentioned properly.
• A candidate will not be allowed to attend an examination for which he is not eligible. In such a case he won’t be allowed to attend the exam and his candidature will be rejected.

There is no need of submitting any documents with the application. The specified documents must be submitted at the time of interview only. (Applicable to candidates who got selection in the examination)

Exemptions to be taken care while filling in MPPET entrance exam form

While filling the application form the candidates must be cautious about the general rules to be followed

• Age relaxation is provided for candidates belonging to Scheduled caste or scheduled tribe. The age relaxation given to such candidates is about 5 years.
• Candidates belonging to OBC community will be given an age relaxation up to three years.
• Fee relaxation of Rs.300/- is provided for candidates belonging to Scheduled caste or scheduled tribe.

The fee that must be paid to procure this application form for general and OBC candidates is Rs.600/-.

Important dates regarding application of MPPET entrance exam

The distribution of application forms for this examination generally starts in the first week of March. The last date of distribution of the application form will be at the end of March itself. The deadline date for online submission is also the end of March month.

Acknowledgement of exam application form

Acknowledgement on application submission will be received at the same moment of the submission of application through online mode. The candidates are usually informed about the same through their Email address. If the candidate fails to receive the acknowledgement within 30 days, they can contact the Entrance Commissioner in the contact address specified in the notification. If the application has got rejected due to any cause it will also be informed. Nowadays acknowledgement is sent also to cell number of the candidate.
