Established recently in the year 2009-2010 and located in Madhya Pradesh the Indian Institute of Technology is a very prestigious institute to do your bachelors degree from. The IIT Indore was established by ministry of HRD, govt. of India. The initial campus was at devi Ahilyabai University with collaboration from IIT Bombay. The institute however got its permanent campus in the year 2009 itself at Simrol i.e. located at about twenty five kms from Indore region and the campus is spread over a large area of 510 acres.

The Institute offers various programmes in academics both at graduate and postgraduate levels. At Under graduate level it offers B. Tech. in 3 disciplines which are Mechanical Engineering, Computer science & engineering, and electrical engineering. At Post graduate level the institute has PhD programmes for various disciplines like Mathematics, Chemistry, Philosophy, English, Computer science & engineering, Mechanical engineering etc.

The campus of the Institute is fully equipped with all modern facilities. The Institute offers various facilities for its students like it has wide and spacious classrooms, a central library supporting various courses both graduate and under graduate levels which has referential books, eBooks, and other electronic resources which are new with respect to the current technological trends. The computer facilities in the institute are connected with the help of a network that forms the backbone for the communication of the institute inside and outside.

To get admission to IIT Indore the students are required to fill in an application form of Joint entrance examination that is conducted every year by various IITs across India. The institute tests the skills of students in Physics, chemistry and mathematics and constitutes an objective type question paper. Every year lakhs of students appear for the examination and only few gets admissions due to limited number of seats available.
