The Institute of Hotel Management began its journey in 1972 by Government of India, Ministry of Tourism, and it started as a complete institute of Hotel Management in the year of 1984. This institute is affiliated to the NCHM, New Delhi and it is also sponsored by Ministry of Tourism, Government of Gujarat & Government. of India.
Campus:
The institute manages to have a well developed and disciplined campus and provides standard library facility to its students that includes above 5000 books on hospitality, hotel and current related topics. It also provides well equipped labs and residential facility to its students. It also provides sports fields for various games like football, cricket, basket ball, and a well equipped gym for its students.
Courses Offered:
The institute offers bachelor, diploma and certificate programs to the aspirants. Main courses are: B.Sc.in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, Post Graduate diploma in Accommodation operation and Management, Certificate in Air Hostess/Cabin Crew program
Admission Procedure:
The admission is done on the basis of the marks obtained by the individual in JEE conducted by NCHMET, Noida and also in 10+2 exams or its equivalent exams or board in order to apply for the bachelor’s courses.

Rules and regulation are very strict. I came to know that a candidate named Sandeepkumar Sharma has been detained due to only short of one lecture. he will have to suffer for a year. So librally condone the same and allow him for exam to be conducted at 12th nov.
