Jawaharlal Nehru P.G. College was established in the year 1996 and it is affiliated to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University. The National Council for Teacher Education has approved the college and it is located at Maharajganj District in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Courses Offered:

The college is offering the best education in Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of physical Education and the student intake capacity is 90 for the former course, while for the later course it is 50 students per year. The academic session of the college begins every year in the month of July and ends in the month of April/May the next year.

Admission procedure and Fee structure:

The college admits students to both these courses on the basis of entrance examination conducted by Gorakhpur University and the fees collected for both these courses are decided on the basis of the norms set by the examination body and the university from time to time.

Facilities:

The college has classified the facilities offered by it under two main categories namely instructional facility and infrastructural facilities. Facilities like education, technology & media laboratories, science lab, psychology lab and library are classified under instructional facilities, while other facilities like game & sports, staff quarters and hostel facilities are coming under the category of infrastructural facilities. Facilities for playing games like basketball, kabaddi, badminton, cricket, volleyball, hockey and football are available in the campus of the college.

Campus of the College:

The college owns a total land of 4.804 hac., of which constructed area of the college is 4159 square meters and the area allocated for playground is 42845 sq. meters. The college campus also includes a hostel with 45 rooms and it can accommodate 180 students.
