The Karunya School of Management is situated in Coimbatore. The school was established in the year 1994. Initially there were only 3 courses that were offered with the total strength being only 180 students. The institute is recognized by the government of India. It is affiliated to the Karunya University.

Campus

The Management school has all the proper facilities and the infrastructure that are needed for a management course to take place. The buildings and the sprawling campus around the college gives it a very good environment for the studies to take place. The libraries are well equipped to meet the needs of the students and the faculties.

Courses Offered

The courses offered by the Karunya School of Management are Masters of Business Administration (full time), MBA in Construction Management, M.Phil (full time), PhD (full time and part time) and MBA (part time). The specialized courses that are available in the MBA programme is Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, financial Management, Systems and Applications, Production and Operations Management and Entrepreneurship Development.

Admission Procedure

The admission to the Management course is on the basis of merit in the National Level Entrance Examination of XAT. Then there is the interview on the campus. The other criteria are the subject combination and the percentage of marks obtained in the 10th and the 12th standards. The application form can be downloaded from the university site or by hand from the office.

Placements

The placement record of the School is very nice with more than 80% placements. Companies like ICICI prudential, Infosys, Mahindra and Mahindra, Philips, Pricol, TVS motors, WIPRO and UTI Bank.
