M.Tech (Computer Science) in Goa University
M.Tech (Computer Science) is one among the new courses offered at Goa University. Engineering graduates in streams like Information Technology/Computer Science and MCA/M.Sc (IT) holders are eligible to apply. Admission to this course is done on the basis of GATE/NET score. Those with out a valid score in GATE/NET must attend and qualify the University level entrance examination. Questions based on engineering mathematics and computer science/information technology are asked for this entrance exam. Topics like combinotorics, graph theory, computer vision, educational game design, machine translation, and visual computing are covered under the course curriculum.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech (Computer Science) in Goa University
Engineering graduates in any of the following subjects with a minimum of 55% marks can apply.
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Electronics
- Electronics and Telecommunication
MCA/MSc(IT) graduates with a minimum of 55% marks are also considered eligible. Reserved category candidates needs to have a minimum of 50% marks only. Those having appeared for qualifying examination and awaiting results can apply.
Admission Procedure for M.Tech (Computer Science) in Goa University
Admission process of eligible candidates is done on the basis of the entrance test conducted by the Department of Computer Science, Goa University. Syllabus for the entrance test is as follows.
