Do I need to be GATE qualified to apply for PhD(Computer Science) entrance test of Anna University?


sir/madam,
I completed my mtech last year.I got admission into mtech through PGECET entrance exam. Now i wanted to start my PHD. Do i need to be GATE qualified to apply for entrance test for PHD in computer Science un der Anna university?

GATE score will help you edge out other candidates and it is not compulsory to have such score for Ph.D admission at Anna University. You can apply for admission without it, if you have 55% marks in M.Tech degree.

Admission will be on the basis of performance in the interview stage, which will be conducted by the concerned university.
