Naval Kishor Shivhare Nursing College was set up in the year 2006. The college offers nursing diploma courses under the affiliation of Mahakaushal Nurses Registration Council, Bhopal. The College offers undergraduate and post graduate courses in nursing under the affiliation of the Jiwaji University.

The diploma courses available in the college are ANM (Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife) and GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery).

The post graduate course available in the college is M Sc (Nursing).

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination (with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects) with at least 45% marks are eligible to apply for the B Sc (Nursing) course. Candidates who have passed regular General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course or distance GNM course with 2 years working experienced are eligible to apply for the B Sc Nursing (Post Basic).

Candidates who have passed 10th or equivalent examination are eligible to apply for the ANM diploma course. The candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination (with science subject) or vocational nursing group are eligible to apply for the GNM diploma curse.

Candidates who have passed B Sc (Nursing) with at least 55% marks (relaxable for SC/ ST candidates) are eligible to apply of the M Sc (Nursing) course.

The admission for the undergraduate, post graduate and diploma courses in the college are made directly based on merit of the candidates in the qualifying exam.
