NMAT- Eligibility, Test Structure and Application Process
Bachelors in any discipline with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate are eligible to appear in NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT). The objective type test comprises questions from verbal ability, logical reasoning and Numerical Ability. Applications can be submitted through online mode only. Fee payment can be done through any of the branches of Axis Bank via online or by direct payment methods.
Eligibility Criterion for NMIMS Management Aptitude Test
Candidates who have completed graduation in any stream from any University recognized by UGC are eligible to apply for this exam. They should have secured a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate in first attempt. There should not be any breaks in graduation. Those who have completed graduation through distance study and correspondence as well as in part time mode and in Open University are not eligible to apply.
Those who are seeking admission to MBA Pharmaceutical Management are required to complete Full Time Bachelor’s degree in any of the following courses.
- Pharmacy
- Science Subjects
- Life Sciences
- M B B S
- B D S
- B H M S
- B A M S
- Biotechnology
Apart from this, those who have completed post graduation in Biotechnology/ Sociology/ Psychology or Economics are eligible to apply.
Test Structure of NMIMS Management Aptitude Test
Candidates can expect objective type multiple choice questions in the written test. There will be a total of 120 questions. Each question carries one mark. Questions will be asked from the following sections
- Language Skills
- Quantitative Skills
- Logical Reasoning
There will be 32 questions from Language Skills which should be answered within 22 minutes. Quantitative Section will contain 48 questions and the time limit allotted for this section is one hour. There will be 40 questions to evaluate candidate’s skills in Logical Reasoning. Candidates are required to finish this section within 38 minutes. There will be no penalty for wrong answers. Candidates are required to clear the sectional cut offs so as to be short listed for further test.
Application Procedure for NMIMS Management Aptitude Test
Candidates who wish to appear for this examination are required to apply online from the official website of the Institute. They will have to register to get a user ID and password. Those who have successfully completed registration will have to log in with user ID and provide details related to academics according to the instructions given in the website. After successful registration, candidates will have to pay the examination fees of Rs. Rs.1650/-. Fee payment can be done through Credit/ Debit cards or through any branches of Axis Bank. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam will receive a confirmation message via email.
