The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur Society was registered on 14th December, 1959. The Institute started functioning in the building of Harcourt Butler Technological Institute in 1959. No. of posts: Principal Medical Officer -1, Assistant Security Officer -5, Junior Technical Superintendent -14

Pay Scale – Principal Medical Officer : Rs. 37400 - 67000 + Grade pay of Rs. 8900 + NPA; Assistant Security Officer  & Junior Technical Superintendent: Rs. 9300 - 34800 + Grade pay of Rs. 4200.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – For Assistant Security Officer  & Junior Technical Superintendent posts, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 32 years (Relaxable as per rules).

Selection Process:

The selection process includes written test/ trade test and/ or interview.
