SECAB ARS Inamdar Arts, Science and Commerce College for Women belongs to the Socio Economic Cultural Association of Bijapur and the college offers arts and science courses with affiliation from the Karnataka State Women’s University located in Bijapur. Course Details:

Bachelor of Arts:

The Bachelor of Arts course offered by the college includes English as a compulsory subject and candidates can choose from any of the languages like Kannada, Sanskrit, Arabic, Additional English, Hindi, Urdu and Kannada. When it comes to optional subject for the B.A Course, candidates can choose any three out of the following subjects:

• Home science

• Hindi

• Functional English

• Library and Information Science

• Geography

• Education

• Elements of Mathematics and Statistics

• Economics

• Sociology

• Psychology

• Political science

• History

Bachelor of Science:

The course includes English as a compulsory subject and any language from additional English, Sanskrit, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu or Kannada and they can choose any three from the following optional subjects:

• Botany, Zoology, Home Science

• Chemistry, Botany, Zoology

• Physics, mathematics, computer science

• Physics, chemistry, mathematics

In addition to above, students will have to study other subjects like Personality development, communication English, human rights and environmental studies and Indian constitution according to the rules of Karnataka State Women’s University located at Bijapur.

Teachers Training Programme:

The college offers special training programme for training students in such a way that they can become resourceful teachers for teaching geography, history and English language at the primary and high school level.

Research activities at the college:

SECAB ARSI Arts, Science & Commerce College for Women encourages research activities for both faculty members and students. Many teachers of the institution are engaged in research projects and students of the college are also assigned with research projects in their appropriate subjects. For conducting research activities, the institute has scientific instrumental laboratory facilities.
