Tathagat Teacher’s Training College came into existence in the year 1998 and the college is functioning under the aegis of the Bhudhist Society. The college offers teacher education course with affiliation from the Vinoba Bhave University located at Hararibagh. The institute had always been in the path of serving the society with the vision of enlightenment can empower people through proper education and can make them fruitful individuals for the society. It is a co-education self-financing institution and it came into existence in the year 1998.

About the course:

The only course offered by the Tathagat Teachers’ Training College is Bachelor of Education and this course can trains the students through different teaching methodology followed by the college. The training methodology includes field trips, experiments, demonstration, seminars, projects, co-operative learning section, classroom demonstration, etc… Every year, the institution admits 100 students for the course and it offers education through face-to-face mode.

Eligibility requirement:

As far as eligibility requirement for Bachelor of Education course offered by the Tathagat Teachers’ Training College is concerned, candidates with not less than 50% of marks at UG level in any stream of education from a recognized university are eligible to apply.

How to apply:

Candidates can get the application form and prospectus from the college on payment of Rs.500 in the form of cash or Rs.550 in the form of DD drawn in favor of Tathagat Teachers’ Training College payable at Dhanbad.

Instructional facilities at the college:

Tathagat Teachers’ Training College has laboratory for subjects like psychology, physical sciences, biology, chemistry and physics and these labs can accommodate 10 students at a time.

College Library:

Tathagat College has a very sophisticated state-of-the-art library with a collection of nearly 3300 books. The library has separate sections for periodicals and journals, reading room, reference section, etc… It is subscribing for 06 educational journals and there are more than 200 books in the reference section of the library.
