Vidyalankar Institute of Technology was established in 1999 by Prof. C.S.Deshpande. This college was laid foundation by his efforts and dedication whose only aim was to impart quality education by starting an academic institute. Vidyalankar has grown into a full fletched institute which is accompanied by two other institutes Vidyalankar Polytechnic and Vidyalankar School of Information Technology. This college is approved by the norms of AICTE and is affiliated to University of Mumbai. This college is located at Wadala in the heart of Mumbai very near to Railway station and airport.

Services:

The college has a big library which has a vast collection of around 17,000 volumes of books. It also stocks number of CD’s and international journals for the purpose of updating students with recent happenings. The college manages a well equipped computer center with internet access. Each department has a separate lab with modern equipments for research purpose. The institute also holds a hostel at Nerul at Navi Mumbai. Apart from the lush campus of infrastructure, the college also has banking facility, gift shop, a food court, sports centre and a swimming pool.

Training and Placement:

The teaching faculties develop the technological skills of the student whereas the training and placement division takes care of developing their overall personality. The cell strives in improving the communication skills by arranging group discussions. They also guide and analyze their aptitude skills by conducting various packages of aptitude tests. More than 100 students have been recruited through college campus interviews by TCS, Accenture, PCS, Mastek Limited, Reliance Info Com., AurinPro and various reputed organizations.
