Structure and Syllabus of Visakhpatnam Co-operative Bank Clerks Recruitment
There will be written test and interview for this test. Medium for written test will be English. Written test carries 175 marks with negative marks for incorrect answers. Only black ink ball pen will be allowed for marking answers. Subjects for the test are given below.

- Test of Computer and Clerical Aptitude
- Test of English Language
The total duration specified for the test is 120 minutes. Candidates will be called for interview according to the marks obtained in the test. So it is not necessary that a candidate who passed the test will be called for the interview. Interview carries 25 marks. Final selection will be based on the marks obtained by adding marks from both written test and interview.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should be a native of Vishakpatnam. Candidate should have studied in an educational institution recognized by State Government for a period of consecutive four academic years. The ending academic period may be the one in which candidate have appeared for graduation examination. Specification given for limit in age is eighteen years minimum and thirty years maximum. Relaxation in upper limit age is given for different category as given below.
- SC/ST candidates-5 years
- Backward Class candidates-3 years
- Physically Challenged (SC/ST category candidates)-15 years
- Physically Challenged (BC category candidates)-13 years
- Physically Challenged (General category candidates)-10 years
- Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen- Actual period of service rendered in defense services + 3 years (8 years for disabled ex-serviceman belonging to SC/ST) subject to the maximum age of 50 years
- Ex-Servicemen should be eligible only if they were discharged from service on or before 1.08.2011. Candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized university with proficiency in English and local language (Telugu).
How to Apply?
Applicants should apply for this test through the website http://www.vizagdccb.org.
Applicants should possess a valid e-mail id. From the website take the printout of the ‘Fee Payment Challan’. Then go to any nearest branch of State Bank of India to pay fee, along with the challan after filling it. Keep the counterfoil copy given by the bank. Then again visit the website and fill the form with the details given in the counterfoil. On clicking submit button after filling the form application will be registered. Then a register number and password will be provided to the applicant. Using this, applicant can take the copy of the registered application form which should be submitted during the personal interview.
How to fill the Form?
Scanned image of photograph and signature is needed along with the application. Image of photograph should be colored, passport style with white background. Clear picture with dimension 200 x 230 pixels is preferable. File size between 20kb and 50 kb is preferable.
Signature should be put on the white paper with black ink by the applicant. Only applicant should put their signature. Any person other than the applicant is not allowed to put his/her signature. File size between 10 kb and 20 kb is preferable. Dimensions specified for this file is 140 x 60 pixels. Separate links will be provided for the applicant to upload their photograph or signature on the form. By clicking on it they can select their appropriate file and upload it alongwith the form. While entering fee details confirm Branch Name, Branch Code, Transaction ID and Date of payment of Fee are same as in the challan. Fields marked with * are mandatory fields and it should not be left as blank.
Try to enter the letters in capital letter.

Study Plan

Practice questions: Using question bank try to solve many questions each day. This will help to improve logic and analytical skill.
Read notes: Make notes after reading each topic. Write down formulas and try a question based on that note. Go through the notes after finishing the topic. This will help to memorize the topics which have been studied earlier.
Undertake practice tests: Obtain previous year question papers and try to solve the questions. It will help to improve confidence to attend exam and will help to acquaint with the exam pattern.
