Prof. S.A. College of Education is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University and it was established by Prof. Syed Ameeruddin Educational Trust, which has been doing service to the field of teacher education for quite a longer period.

Course Offered:

The college is offering Bachelor of Education degree and this degree is approved by National Council for Teacher Education. The course duration is one year and the college is offering education through its Tamil, English, mathematics, physical science, biological science, history and elements of education departments.

Eligibility for admission:

For getting admission to the college, candidate must be a degree holder in the subject in which he/she is seeking admission. Candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in the final year of the degree course in the major and allied subjects. For candidates falling under the category of BC, MBC and SC/ST, the minimum qualifying mark is 45%, 43% and 40% respectively. In the case of candidates falling under the category of physically/visually challenged students, a minimum pass is enough.

Admission procedure:

The college is following the admission norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University from time to time. The selection of candidates shall be on the basis of statutory provisions of Government of Tamil Nadu/University.
