The clinic grew into a research and educational institution for teaching and researching of Unani medicines, Islamic studies, etc. Jamia Hamdard after being inaugurated by Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi on August 01, 1989 became a “Deemed to be University”.  Jamia Hamdard is as an outstanding institution of higher learning in Unani Medicine, Islamic Studies, Biosciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, etc. the institution offers Graduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral programmes in several disciplines.

Qualification – Candidates must have done MD/MS/DNB in relevant subject.
