Amity Indian Military College is the reputed college which allows you to be a defense officer. College is approved and affiliated to Amity University for admission into Military College. College is also approved by Government of India for conducting this program. Institute is a part of Amity Universe which is providing education to 60,000 students which is built at 700 acres of land for providing education to the aspiring candidates. AIMC runs on the pattern of Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun. The Amity Indian Military Education Society has established the Amity Indian Military College.
The college was established with a basic aim of imparting school like education system that is based in the CBSE board like pattern and military orientation on the lines of RIMC. The basic infrastructural advantage of the college is the availability of separate boys and girls hostel that is also based on the secondary Education system. The college is located in some of the most suitable area that is present in some of the most modern cities across India.
The Institute is a highly prestigious one and has been known to produce aspirants with great potential and zest. The Institute is also known for the military based education with strict detailing on behavior and discipline.
Details of courses provided by the AIMC:
• Institute provides quality based education based on CBSE pattern to boys from class VIII to XII.
• Prepare the students for Entrance Examination and Services Selection Board (SSB)
• Interview by the Amity SSB Academy for the entry into National Defense Academy, khadakvasla, Pune.
• Cadets are provided sprawling residential campus at the Amity Education Valley, near Manesar.
The course text book will be provided by the NCERT.
Eligibility Criteria:
The interested candidates have to be a citizen of India and should have attained a minimum of 40% marks in their Higher Secondary Examination.
• Admissions to classes VIII and IX for this military program.
Admission Procedure:
The interested candidates can appear for a written entrance exam. The candidates who have passed this entrance exam are then called for the final admission. All the drafts will be in favor of Amity Indian Military College. Suitable candidates can also apply for admission in the reservation quota under different rules as well as regulations of the college system.
